
Tempe Lampe
MSW Clinical Intern
Tempe (she/they) is currently in the final year of her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) at New York University. They have worked in the mental health field conducting neuropsychiatric testing following receiving their Bachelor’s in Psychology from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. They have worked with a wide range of age groups, from children to older adults. Her most previous field experience was at Hamilton Madison House working with seniors to promote emotional wellness and aid in navigating social welfare programs to receive the resources they need.
Tempe has a deep interest in the human mind and experience on the individual level and within larger social contexts. The NYU MSW program has provided a number of courses to strengthen her understanding of these interests, including: diversity, racism, oppression, and privilege; interpersonal therapy; human behavior in the social environment, and many more.
Tempe aims to create a warm and safe holding environment through positivity, empathy, humor, and working collaboratively with clients.
