Diana Garcia
Intern & Social Media Manager
Diana Garcia is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern and a second-year graduate student at Touro University, training under the supervision of Evangelos Daniels, LCSW, CSAT and Gary Katz, LCSW, CSAT. Her work is grounded in understanding interpersonal dynamics and the complexities of human relationships. She works with clients to develop deeper and healthier intimacy with themselves and others as well as focusing on changing intimacy avoidant behaviors that can prevent deeper intimacy or even harm others.
Diana holds a deep-rooted belief that individuals have the power within themselves to grow, heal, and shift long-standing patterns. She is passionate about supporting clients navigating intimacy issues, betrayal trauma, addictions, and relational disconnection. She also brings a thoughtful curiosity about the role of religion, spirituality, and personal values in shaping identity, relationships, and healing.
Using a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach to help clients explore challenges and move toward meaningful change, Diana’s clinical work draws from Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Imago Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and family systems theory.
Before entering the field of therapy, Diana worked with survivors of sex trafficking, providing trauma-informed support and advocacy. She later worked in community mental health, empowering clients to pursue educational and professional goals. Alongside her clinical work, she runs a marketing and operational consulting firm dedicated to helping business owners expand their practices and align their business strategies with their values.
Diana is committed to creating a culturally responsive space for exploration, healing, and growth.
