GARY KATZ

As the founder of The Center for Intimacy Recovery and Seen Therapy at the Center for Women’s Intimacy, Gary has found that without a sense of intimacy with oneself, people can’t fully experience intimacy with someone else.
NANCY TRICAMO
Clinical Director, LCSW,
CSAT, CPTT
Nancy Tricamo received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work from New York University. After working in the field for several years, she attended a four-year program at The Training Institute for Mental Health, receiving a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy in 1998.
ROSIE SILVA
MHC
Rosie has extensive experience working with individuals and couples in helping them attain greater intimacy with themselves and others. She has worked for many years with betrayal trauma and sexual addiction and has a keen understanding of the issues that need to be addressed to create healing, reovery and healthier relationships.
GEORGE EMBIRICOS
LMSW, CPTT
George earned his Master's Degree in Social Work concentrating in Advanced Clinical Practice from Columbia University. He helps identify clients’ strengths & uses evidence-based approaches in his work, including CBT and motivational interviewing.
JEFF ADELSON
LMSW, CPTT
Jeff received his MSW from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. He has worked in the field of addiction for 15+ years and understands how self-soothing behaviors can often become destructive and difficult habits to break.
JAMIE GLASS

Jamie is a graduate of Columbia University where she received her Masters of Social Work. She has training in various evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
GILBERT A. NICK

Gilbert earned his Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. He has training using cognitive-behavioral therapies, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques to support clients coping with compulsive behaviors, intimacy and relationship difficulties, and internal conflicts and stress.

Evangelos' training includes various methods of CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy for the treatment of various conditions including: depression, anxiety, self-esteem, family concerns, and life adjustment issues - in individuals, couples, and families.

Shawna graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Masters of Science in Couples & Family Therapy, specializing in sex therapy. She believes in treating intimacy & sexual issues in the most holistic way possible by looking at the whole system, mind, body and spirit.
TAKIYAH WALCOTT

Takiyah is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of New York. She earned her M.S in Marriage and Family Therapy at Long Island University and specializes in sex therapy. Takiyah’s approach to therapy is warm, open-minded, collaborative, and supportive.
ISOLDE SUNDET

Isolde is a licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) with 10 years of counseling and assessment experience. Isolde primarily uses a psychodynamic approach to counseling but utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy and short-term solution focused therapy when appropriate.

Katya received her Masters of Psychology with a concentration in Marriage & Family Therapy. Katya’s approach is rooted in experiential models like Emotionally Focused Therapy & Internal Family Systems as well as postmodern practices like Narrative & Solution-Focused Therapy.

Mike Friedman, a Licensed Professional Counselor, is passionate about working with individuals and couples. With a strong commitment to evidence-based treatments, Mike strives to enhance client wellness and facilitate healing from trauma.

Susan has provided mental health services to children, teens, families, individuals, & couples with a broad range of needs. She's facilitated groups, workshops, and created webinars, covering myriad mental-emotional health concerns for diverse populations.

Nicole is a psychotherapist, (LMHC) licensed in Florida, who for over a decade, has helped people navigate through relationship dilemmas, anxiety, trauma recovery, personality and identity concerns with her genuine care, warmth and wisdom.

Sophie (she/her) is a second year Masters of Social Work student at New York University. She has worked at an outpatient detox center and rehab with individuals in recovery for substance and alcohol use disorders and has volunteered as a crisis counselor.

Jocelyn is a Masters Candidate at the NYU Silver School of Social Work.Jocelyn strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for understanding and healing. She believes it is everyone's right to engage in healthy and fulfilling relationships with self and others

Recovery Coach
Adrian serves as a coach to guide people in recovery. He works on multiple levels with clients, introducing them to recovery and walking side by side on their journey in getting acclimatized to the recovery process and through day-to-day challenges that come up.

Alexandrea “Aly” is a literal Jill of All Trades. She holds degrees in Clinical Psychology as well as Business Administration and to satisfy her lifelong love of learning, she will be testing for her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Summer 2023.

Practice Manager
Christi Fontana is often the first point of contact between clients and the Center for Intimacy Recovery. She knows how heavy it can be to pick up the phone and ask for help. Christi helps potential clients understand the therapy process, figure out what type of therapy will be most helpful and which therapist will be the best fit for them.

Dr. Amanda Lefkowitz is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who earned her doctoral degree from Columbia University, where she was the recipient of The Doctor of Nursing Practice Award for clinical excellence.
