Isolde is a licensed psychotherapist (LMHC) with 10 years of counseling and assessment experience. Prior to opening her private practice, Isolde worked for an agency in New York City under the Office of the Attorney General where she provided therapy and assessment services to mandated clients, most of whom were formerly incarcerated.
Isolde is certified in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy through the International Society for Emotion-Focused Therapy. She holds a certification in mediation through the University of Texas Law School which has assisted her in working with complex issues between couples and families. Isolde has a masters degree in Psychology and Counseling from Columbia University in New York City and is currently in process of publishing her first peer-reviewed journal article as primary author. Isolde works with individuals, couples, business partners, and anyone who is interested in learning more about themselves and their relationships.
Isolde primarily uses a psychodynamic approach to counseling but utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy and short-term solution focused therapy when appropriate. Isolde specializes in treating out of control sexual behavior, infidelity among couples and partners, and sexual offending behavior
