The Center for Intimacy Recovery is excited to announce the launch of a new psychoeducational therapy group for men, The Early Recovery Roadmap Group. 

 

This group is designed to help individuals to address problematic sexual behaviors and to create a concrete roadmap for lasting recovery.

Duration: 12 Weeks

Start Date: Thursday, May 8th, 2025

Time: 6:30 - 8:00 PM EST

Cost: $100 per week

 

(One individual assessment session is required to ensure that the group is a good fit.)

In this intimate space, we will work together on essential exercises such as Triggers Mapping, the Three Circles, the Cycle of Addiction, a Sexual Timeline, and Identifying Your Ten Worst Moments. Our aim is to foster a supportive environment where you can build a robust daily and weekly support structure for your recovery journey.

The group will be led by Akiva Tolchin, MFT, CSAT-Candidate and Evangelos Daniels, LCSW, CSAT, who are both dedicated to guiding participants through this transformative journey.

Evangelos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of counseling experience. Evangelos has an understanding that selecting a therapist can be just as challenging as deciding to enter into treatment. Therefore, this is his pledge to you: He will welcome you into treatment with compassion, professional competence, and a sincere sensitivity to the specific circumstances motivating you to seek therapy at this time.

Akiva is a psychotherapist (MFT-LP) and a relational trauma specialist. Having completed an internship under Timothy Lee, a leading expert in the sexual compulsivity and trauma field, Akiva has specialized experience supporting clients struggling with sex addiction, betrayal trauma, codependence, and related intimacy challenges. Holding an attuned and empathetic space, Akiva applies evidence-based trauma therapy, collaborating with clients to explore, realize, and process everything to the core of the psyche.
