Additionally, she has received specialized training in EMDR under William Zangwill, PhD. Upon their request, Erika offers EMDR to her clients to further enhance the healing process.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a specialized therapeutic approach that has been proven effective in treating trauma-related disorders and other emotional difficulties. By utilizing bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tactile sensations, EMDR helps clients process distressing memories or experiences that have become stuck, leading to emotional healing and resolution. This technique allows clients to reprocess traumatic memories in a safe and controlled manner, reducing the negative impact of these experiences and promoting overall well-being.
Under Erika's guidance, clients who have experienced trauma or are struggling with emotional difficulties can benefit from the transformative power of EMDR. Through this evidence-based approach, she helps clients address the underlying issues contributing to their distress, providing a path towards healing and personal growth. With her compassionate approach and dedication to your well-being, Erika is here to support you on your journey towards healing and resilience.
