Jocelyn Solis-Carson

Clinical Intern

Jocelyn is a Masters Candidate at the NYU Silver School of Social Work. Jocelyn's previous field experience has been working with teens in high school along with their families in the NYC public school system. She provided individual and group psychotherapy for the teens. She also co-facilitated family therapy sessions. Her approach is client centered and is informed by anti-oppressive values, cultural humility, as well as a strength-based approach.

 

Jocelyn strives to provide a safe and welcoming environment for understanding and healing. She believes it is everyone's right to engage in healthy and fulfilling relationships with self and others. She is committed to staying updated on the most effective therapeutic approaches to support her client's journeys. Her approach is rooted in empathy, compassion and is always judgement free.
